Mateusz Ludwik Loska (Poland)

Mateusz Loska, born 1986 in Tychy, polish double bass player, soloist and performer. He studied at the Academy of Music ' I.J. Paderewski' with Piotr Czerwinski and Szymon Guzowski. As a soloist and chamber player has performed in 22 countries around the world as well as at Polish festivals such as the Poznanska Wiosna Muzyczna, Warsaw Autumn, Silesian Days of Contemporary Music and the Silesian Composers Tribune. He participated in master classes of such great doublebasist as François Rabbath, Rinat Ibragimov, Leon Bosch, Evgeny Kolosov and Chi-chi Nwanoku. Member of Sepia Ensemble, based in Poznan (Poland) contemporary music ensemble. He participated in creation of sound installations and recordings for animated, short and independent films.
