Anna Zielińska (Poland)

Anna Zielinska (born in Poznan, Poland); violinist. As a classical musician she was playing as a member of Bayerische Rundfunk Orchesterakademie conducted by Mstislav Rostropovich, Easter Festival Orchestra in Bayreuth, Jeunesses Musicales World Orchestra, and RIAS Jugendorchester. Since 2000 she has been cooperating with Dresdner Sinfoniker.


As a soloist she has participated in many festivals, a.o. in Chile, France, Mexico, Ukraine, Greece, Estonia, Italy, Cuba, Brazil, Argentina, Israel. She also played in other countries of Europe as well as in China, Indonesia, Taiwan and Palestina.

Anna Zielinska has performed numerous world premieres of solo or electroacoustic works and presentations of Polish compositions abroad as well as recordings for The Polish Radio and TV and radio broadcasts in Europe, Asia and both Americas.

She also performs improvised music. In 2001 she was a bursar of the German musikFabrik Ensemble and she participated in Earle Brown’s Open Form Workshop in Heek.
